A curious exhibition showcasing a miscellaneous collection of artworks created by two Central Qld artists who regularly collaborate and exhibit together. Nanette Balchin and Peta Lloyd are both collectors of the unusual and seekers of the quirky and curious. They hunt and they gather, they stitch, print, collage and fold, combining paper, paint and found objects into themed collections that are intriguing and intimate. This exhibition reveals an “omnium gatherum” of mixed collections of artist books, assemblages and small art works built around cohesive themes.
