About the event
Iconic Melbourne artist Pamela Irving - known for 'Larry Latrobe' and her massive Luna Park mosaics - will be in conversation with her husband, criminal barrister and writer, Benjamin Lindner about their preoccupation with Australia's 'accidental anthem', Waltzing Matilda. Benjamin has uncovered an intriguing story about the song's origins, and Pamela has literally uncovered pieces of Dagworth Station, where the song is alleged to have been written. Australian history, reworked.
