We have recently had a visit from Chelsea Neate and her friends, who are in their final year of Film Studies at the JMC Academy in Melbourne. They have approached us about using our bookshop as a location for a short film for their final graduation project, and of course we are 100% on-board with this idea! It's a musical and the brief synopsis is - a hopeless romantic decides to take her chance and seek a fairytale ending. They are currently calling out for locals to participate as extras. Aside from the pleasure of meeting a group of young and energetic creatives, everything about this project really excites us! The shoot's in July. Contact them if you're interested in participating.
